In 2024, Manuel “Manolo” Quesada Jr. and his immediate family became the sole owners of Quesada Cigars, acquiring all remaining investor shares and returning the company to 100% family ownership. This milestone ensured that every decision moving forward would be guided by the same values that built the brand nearly five decades ago.

Momentum continued later that year with the launch of SAG Imports, a new joint distribution venture between the Quesada family and the Martínez family of Joya de Nicaragua. This partnership brought two historic cigar families together and, for the first time in many years, established a dedicated, U.S.‑based sales force for Quesada Cigars—strengthening the brand’s connection with retailers and consumers nationwide.

But the transformation didn’t stop there.

Quesada Cigars also unveiled a bold new visual identity, introducing a modernized logo and a fresh tagline: “Spark Up, Here and Now.” The new look reflects the brand’s forward‑thinking spirit while honoring its rich heritage. Debuting on three new releases at PCA 2026, the logo showcases vibrant, expressive packaging—most notably on Quesada’s sweet‑capped cigars—marking a playful and confident departure from past designs. The Oktoberfest line will proudly feature the new logo beginning next year.
