When it comes to authentic, full-flavored Nicaraguan cigars, no one does it quite like Perdomo. For over two decades, the Perdomo name has been synonymous with excellence, delivering rich, satisfying smokes crafted with unmatched attention to detail and unwavering quality control. Every Perdomo cigar is a true expression of Nicaraguan tobacco at its finest.
Created to celebrate this legacy, the Perdomo 20th Anniversary is a masterful blend of Cuban-seed long-fillers from Estelí, Jalapa, and Condega—all harvested from Nicaragua’s black volcanic soils. These top-priming tobaccos are meticulously aged, skillfully blended, and finished with a stunning Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper. The wrapper itself is extra-fermented, cedar-aged, and then bourbon barrel-aged for over 14 months before being applied. A gentle box-press adds the final touch to this Nicaraguan puro.
The result is a smooth yet bold experience, brimming with notes of earth, coffee, and leather, underscored by soft pepper and a slow-building strength that satisfies from start to finish. The Sun Grown variation was awarded a 91-point rating, praised for its clean, oily wrapper and a profile rich in leather, sweet cedar, nutty spice, and a brown sugar finish. It also earned Cigar Journal's 2013 Best Value Cigar—a testament to its premium quality at an accessible price.
