With full access to Plasencia’s unmatched library of premium tobaccos and his state-of-the-art facilities, the Grupo de Maestros set out to craft a Montecristo unlike anything before—a Nicaraguan puro brimming with bold, refined flavor.

Meaning “sword” in Spanish, Espada is clad in a stunning 2010 Jalapa-grown Habano wrapper that envelops an all-Nicaraguan core of long-fillers from Jalapa, Ometepe, and Condega. Each leaf was hand-selected for its unique contribution to strength, flavor, and body, resulting in a cigar that is exceptionally balanced and complex.
