As the debut blend from Foundation Cigar Company, this cigar is deeply personal to founder Nicholas Melillo, who crafted it as a tribute to the culture, art, and tobacco of the country he holds dear.

Crafted as a true Nicaraguan puro, El Güegüense features a Corojo ’99 wrapper and binder, paired with vintage long-fillers of Corojo and Criollo tobaccos from the 2011 and 2012 harvests. A final cedar aging step rounds out the profile, enhancing its elegance and depth. The result is a full-bodied smoke that’s beautifully balanced, offering rich notes of cedar, warming spice, and just a hint of sweetness.
