Steve Saka’s Muestra de Saka line is more than just a series of cigars — it’s a collection of experiments, philosophies, and personal challenges. Each limited-edition release offers a glimpse into the craft and creativity of one of the cigar world’s most respected master blenders.

Nacatamale, the second release in the series, reflects Saka’s deep respect for traditional blending methods. Rather than pulling tobaccos from multiple farms and countries — the modern norm — he embraced the old-school “farm blending” technique, sourcing all filler tobacco from a single farm in Jalapa, Nicaragua. This purist approach is wrapped in an Ecuadorian Habano capa and bound with Nicaraguan leaf, resulting in a rich, harmonious experience.

The flavor profile is medium to full-bodied and deeply satisfying, with notes of earthy spice, toasted pepper, warm caramel, and a rich, natural tobacco sweetness. Elegantly presented in individual cedar coffins, Nacatamale is a rare expression of restraint, mastery, and bold flavor through simplicity.
